Enfrentarse al mal tiempo

Barbie se cansa de tanta lluvia y mal tiempo. Está harta de tener que salir cada día con las botas y el paraguas. Lo peor es que llueve y llueve y seguirá lloviendo  unos días más.

 Cuando llega a su casa su compañera de piso le dice que lo mejor es enfrentarse al mal tiempo. Ambas necesitan ver el sol y deciden guardar la ropa de invierno para desafiar a que llegue la primavera.

 Si la primavera no llega a la ciudad de Barbie ellas se irán a buscarla. ¿Qué tal un viaje a una zona más cálida?

Coping with bad weather

Barbie is tired of rain and bad weather. She is tired of having to go out every day with boots and umbrella. Worse still raining and raining and raining a few days.

When she gets home her roommate tells her that it's best to face the bad weather. Both need to see the sun and decide to keep the winter clothing to defy spring arrives.

Nunca se tienen suficientes zapatos…

 Desde que Barbie era una niña y le contaron el cuento de Cenicienta y el zapatito de cristal ella tiene una predilección especial por comprar zapatos. De tacón, slippers, francesitas, sandalias… diferentes tipos, marcas, colores y formas. Le gustan todos.

 Barbie se siente identificada con el personaje de Carrie Bradshow en la famosa serie ‘Sex and the city’ quien se puso de manifiesto su amor incondicional a la firma Manolo Blahnik y sus archiconocidos ‘Manolos’.

 Y Barbie no es la única que siente fascinación por los zapatos. Una de las editoras de la revista ‘Vogue’, Anna Dello Russo, dijo una vez que “nunca se tienen suficientes zapatos”. Quizá sea por la sencilla razón de que se dice que tiene unos 4.000 pares.

 Pero realmente para Barbie el calzado es un valor en alza que ha pasado de ser un complemento a ser una parte fundamental de sus estilismos. Ella tiene sus favoritos, por supuesto unos zapatos de la firma ‘Chanel’.

Since Barbie was a child and told the story of Cinderella and the glass slipper she has a special fondness for buying shoes. Heels, slippers, francesitas, sandals ... different types, brands, colors and shapes. She likes them all.

Tiempo de desconexión

 Barbie necesita unos días de ‘desconexión’ de las rutinas diarias. De momentos dedicados a uno mismo, a charlas con su pareja, de escuchar el sonido de los pájaros… sin móvil, sin ordenador, sin internet… un regreso a otra época.

 Barbie disfruta de su casa de campo mientras Ken limpia la moto que lleva parada todo el invierno. Ambos disfrutan de su mútua compañía y de un tiempo de ‘calidad’.

 Barbie necesita estar en soledad y en la más absoluta desconexión de todo y de todos. Por ello, ambos procuran reservar algunos días al año para disfrutar de tiempo para dedicarse a lo importante: a ellos mismos, una misión cada vez más difícil.

Off time
Barbie needs a few days of 'disconnection' daily routines. In moments for yourself, to talk with your partner, listening to the sound of birds ... no phone, no internet , no computer... a throwback to another era.
Barbie enjoys her cottage while Ken is cleaning the bike has been idle all winter. Both enjoy their mutual company and a time of 'quality'.
Barbie needs to be in solitude and in complete disconnection from everything and everyone. Therefore, both seek to reserve some days a year to enjoy time to devote to what's important: to themselves, a mission increasingly difficult.
