Esta mañana Barbie
salió a trabajar como un día normal pero a medida que avanzaba la jornada veía
como todo se le complicaba. Las tareas pendientes se acumulaban en su despacho.
A medida que pasaban las horas se sumaban actividades una tras otra, se solapaban
tareas pendientes y le resultaba imposible concluirlas. Que si leer e-mails,
revisar un material, atender una llamada telefónica, revisar el proyecto que
debe estar listo para mañana, recibir a un compañero de trabajo que acude en
busca de ayuda urgente, asistir a una reunión que se alarga toda la tarde... Un
suma y sigue de tareas.
Trabajo, trabajo,
trabajo,.... En ciertas temporadas, el trabajo absorbe todo el tiempo de
Barbie. Ella disfruta de sus trabajo pero hay jornadas que son eternas.
Por
ello cuando regresa a su casa, por la
noche, lo primero que le apetece hacer es tomarse una ducha relajante… Dicho y hecho.
Después pica algún resto de comida que encuentra en su cocina y se acuesta en
su cama viendo la tele. Enseguida se queda dormida. Mañana será otro día y se
queda dormida…
Days when everything is complicated
This morning Barbie went to work like a normal day but
as the day progressed she looked like all complicated. The remaining tasks were
accumulated in her office. As the hours passed activities were added one after
another, overlapping tasks pending and she could not conclude. If she read
e-mails, review material, take a phone call, review the project should be ready
for tomorrow, get a co-worker who goes in search of urgent help, attend a
meeting that stretches all afternoon ... A task so it goes.
Work, work, work .... At certain times, the job can
take all the time Barbie. She enjoys her job but there are days that are
eternal. So when she returns home at night, the first thing she wants to do is
take a relaxing shower ... Said and done. After some rest bites of food in her
kitchen and sleeps in hers bed watching TV. Then she falls asleep. Tomorrow is
another day...
